Our approach to early learning

At Little Achievers Early Learning Centre, we believe every child is capable, curious and full of potential. Our educational program is thoughtfully designed to inspire a lifelong love of learning by encouraging children to explore, discover and grow through meaningful play and hands-on experiences.

Guided by the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) Version 2.0, our educators create engaging learning opportunities that support each child's individual development, interests and strengths. Every experience is carefully planned to nurture children's confidence, creativity, resilience and independence while recognising that every child learns at their own pace.

We value each child's unique personality, cultural background, family values and experiences. By building genuine relationships with children and their families, we create learning programs that are meaningful, inclusive and responsive to each child's individual journey.

Baby programs

Our programs for babies focus on sensory exploration, language development, and building secure attachments through engaging interactions and responsive care.

Toddler programs

Toddlers are encouraged to imagine, pretend, and act through dramatic play, fostering social skills, creativity, and early cognitive development.

Preschool programs

Our preschool programs prepare children for school with a strong focus on literacy, numeracy, and self-regulation skills, all within a playful and supportive environment.

A nurturing space for every child to thrive

We want parents to feel confident, reassured and excited about their child's learning journey at Little Achievers Early Learning Centre. Our programs are designed to provide a warm, nurturing and engaging environment where every child feels safe, valued and encouraged to reach their full potential.

What your baby will learn

  • Engaging with others: Developing their ability to focus more deeply while improving their social skills, attention, communication and concentration. Our team responds to your babies’ cues as their way of communicating and developing language.
  • Singing: Improving their language development, memory and listening skills while supporting brain development.
  • Active engagement: Encouraging active participation in activities to boost self-esteem, gross and fine motor skills, socialisation, and communication.
  • Sensory play: Encouraging your baby to take part in activities that develop their senses and accelerate connections within their brain.
  • Language development: Supporting social, literacy, cognitive and language development to improve how your baby responds, interacts and communicates.
  • People and stimuli: Building your baby’s confidence to want to explore new things and meet new people.

What your Toddler will learn

Toddlers learn foundational social, emotional, and cognitive skills through play-based activities aligned with early childhood frameworks. They build independence, practice early problem-solving, and develop language and friendship skills in a group setting.

Social and Emotional Skills

  • Making friends: Sharing toys, holding hands, and playing in small groups.
  • Managing feelings: Learning to handle emotions with help from teachers.
  • Building confidence: Trying new tasks and growing more independent every day.
  • New words: Using sounds, gestures, and early words to talk and share needs.
  • Listening and stories: Enjoying group rhymes, books, and simple conversations.

Thinking and Physical Skills

  • Problem solving: Playing with puzzles and exploring sensory bins.
  • Moving and exploring: Running, jumping, and building with blocks.
  • Early concepts: Noticing basic shapes, colors, and numbers through active play.

Preparing for 'big school'

By following the National Early Years Learning Framework, we develop your child’s numeracy, literacy, creativity, self-regulation skills and more. Our early education teachers are focused on strengthening your child’s independence, confidence, and curiosity for learning to successfully transition to school.

With regular checkpoints throughout the year, and practical support for extending learning at home, our team will ensure you feel informed on your child’s learning, development and wellbeing along the way.
